Back to School and Other Adventures
These past two months have flown by, unsurprisingly, since I’m back at school! It’s crazy to think that it’s my third year at Redeemer University. I have a lot of school projects keeping me busy.
Photography
I’m (finally) taking a photography class! And unsurprisingly, I love it. Here are some of my favourite photos so far.

Writing
Over the summer, I participated in the Go Teen Writers 100 For 100, a challenge in which you write 100 words on one project every day for 100 days. It’s a challenge, but I was able to finish up the first draft of a middle-grade magical realism novel!

I also wrote a kids story about anxiety and stress baking! This idea has been in my head for years, so I was thrilled to be able to have it published in Muskoka Bible Centre’s Fall 2023 Resilient magazine.

And last but not least, I had my first piece published in Faith Today! “Combatting climate change with a hopeful perspective" is in the September / October 2023 issue.

Ekstasis Ambassador Adventure!
Over the summer, I saw that Ekstasis Magazine was starting an ambassador program, so I applied and got in this fall!
I’m so excited to partner with them to grow Christian creativity and create beauty.

Book Recommendation
I like to read something not school-related before bed, and I recently finished The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. What a beautiful book filled with gems of wisdom.
