It’s almost 2025! It’s strange to think that I only have one semester left at Redeemer University, but it will be a busy one.
Here are some highlights of my creative work over the past three months.
Photography
In October, I photographed a Keith & Kristyn Getty concert in Hamilton. It was the biggest concert I’ve photographed and I had a ton of fun!

In addition, I had two photos published in the October 2024 issue of Christian Courier. You can spot them in the full paper here:
Writing
I wrote two blog posts recently, one for Muskoka Bible Centre and the other for Redeemer University:
"Leading Differently" (Muskoka Bible Centre Blog, November 14, 2024). https://www.muskokabible.com/blog/leading-differently/
Sharing Hope with Those in Need" (Resound, Redeemer University, October 17, 2024). https://www.redeemer.ca/resound/sharing-hope-with-those-in-need/
I was also very excited to have a recipe published for the first time! I perfected my Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookie recipe in 2020, and now it’s published in the October 2024 issue of Clubhouse Magazine.
Story Recommendations
In November, I rediscovered audiobooks through Libby, a fantastic free library app. I’ve enjoyed listening to books in the background while doing chores, baking, or drawing.
In the past two months, I’ve enjoyed 5 audiobooks and have checked off a few titles that had been on my “to be read” list for a while. Highlights include:
The mind-boggling Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. I haven’t read many mystery books, but this was my favourite one yet.
The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster, a whimsical and clever children’s classic.
That is all for 2024! Have a happy new year.
