Well, I am almost finished my final semester of university. It has been a chaotic and difficult one, but there are only a few weeks left! Here are some updates on what I've been doing recently.
Photography
I have as usual done lots of photography around campus at Redeemer this semester, but I also went on a major adventure on reading break with the school's art department that resulted in some amazing photos: NEW YORK CITY!
It was such an incredible few days visiting this iconic place for the first time. I would love to go back someday and see the city in more depth.

Writing
I had the opportunity to work on the Spring 2025 issue of Muskoka Bible Centre's Resilient Magazine as the editorial assistant and it’s so exciting to finally see it in print. In addition to editing, I wrote several articles, a kids story, and a recipe, and I even drew a nature colouring page (my first published artwork)!
You can view the full issue here: https://www.muskokabible.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/MBC-Resilient-Magazine-Spring-2025.pdf
In addition, I wrote an article for Redeemer University's publication, Resound: https://www.redeemer.ca/resound/storytelling-for-the-kingdom/

Story Recommendations
I am preparing for a trip to England (!!!!) after finishing school, and I decided to make a reading list of British classics relevant to places I'll be visiting.
Here are some of my favourites that I’ve been working my way through (but not all at the same time):
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Peter Pan and Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens by J. M. Barrie
A Bear Called Paddington and More About Paddington by Michael Bond
Mary Poppins by P. L. Travers
The Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling
The Sherlock Holmes stories by Arthur Conan Doyle
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
Which ones are your favourites?
The next time I write one of these posts, I will have graduated. See you then!
