Hello!
A lot of my creative work has been behind-the-scenes these past months, but I still have some new updates to share.
Writing
I haven’t had anything new published recently, but I have a lot of exciting things in progress, including
A kids short story for Resilient Magazine
An essay on The Wingfeather Saga for “A Flame Imperishable: The Christian Legacy of J. R. R. Tolkien,” a conference this fall at Redeemer University!
Early ideas for my thesis screenplay.
Editing a draft of a middle grade magical realism novel I wrote last summer.
Photography
I finished another year at Redeemer University in April. It’s been exciting to see my progress as a photographer and filmmaker each year.

I had a wonderful trip to Florida with my family at the end of April. It was so refreshing to be able to take photos just for fun.

I had my first photos published in Christian Courier in the June issue! You can look at the whole issue of Christian Courier here: https://www.christiancourier.ca/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Christian_Courier_June2024_web.pdf
I’m currently at Muskoka Bible Centre for the summer and have been able to photograph a few events. I’ll share photos in the fall!
Story Recommendations
I am rereading the Winnie the Pooh stories right now, and I love them. They’re so wise and clever and genuinely hilarious at times.
I watched Avatar: The Last Airbender for the first time this year, and WOW, what a masterpiece of animation and storytelling.
Within a week of finishing The Last Airbender, the finale of Star Wars: The Bad Batch came out. I was thrilled that I caught up with the show in time to watch the last few episodes as they came out, and the finale was unexpected in its beauty.
That is all for now! See you in the fall.
