This isn’t my usual newsletter, but the past three months haven’t been “usual” in any way. So without further ado…
Goodbye, Redeemer University!
Undergraduate Degree: DONE!
On Friday, May 23, I graduated with my Bachelor of Communications & Media Studies from Redeemer University (the first student at Redeemer to formally graduate with this degree!).
I don’t know what I’m doing next, but God has opened unexpected doors in the past four years and I’m learning to trust His plan.
Published Writing
My second article for Faith Today was published in the May/June 2025 issue! You can find “Making a Joyful Noise: Piano Lessons With a Difference” on page 9.

I had one article published in Redeemer University’s publication, Resound, and two articles published in Redeemer’s student newspaper, The Crown, shortly before graduation:

A Trip to England!
For two weeks in May, I went with some of my friends to England! It was an incredible trip visiting the country for the first time (and it was also my first time leaving the time zone!).
I loved seeing the sights, visiting beautiful museums and attractions, exploring the parks, adding new birds to my life list, and immersing myself in the place where so many of my favourite stories have their roots. I learned so much and can’t wait to go back again someday.

Sorting and editing photos from my trip and looking for new writing projects have kept me somewhat busy, but it’s definitely been a challenge adjusting to not having a school or work routine right now. So I’ve been thinking a lot about Proverbs 19:21 in this time, and that’s how I’d like to end this newsletter.
“Many are the plans in a person’s heart,
but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
Proverbs 19:21 (NIV)
