A New Substack Adventure!

I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm excited.

Well, I am starting a Substack.

I've heard for years that it is valuable for authors and artists to have an email list or newsletter, but I wasn't sure how to do that.

However, after learning about Substack and the positive experience many writers have had here, I decided this would be a good next step in my creative journey.

I've tried blogging before on my website abbyciona.com, but it was sporadic, and what I was trying to do was really meant for other forms of social media that I didn't yet have. So this is a fresh start with endless possibilities (which is intimidating but exciting as well).

Sparrowhawk Stories will (probably) be a place of updates on my published writing, photo essays, assorted adventures, and reflections on inspiration, storytelling, and faith. Maybe it will have book/movie/show/music recommendations too.
